Privacy notice

The short version

Caucus has no accounts, no sign-up and no advertising. Your answers and results are worked out in your browser and are never sent to a server.

What stays on your device

Your answers, your scores and the share image you create exist only in your browser while the page is open. When you close or reload the page they are gone. The only thing Caucus saves is your choice of page theme (light, sepia or dark), kept in your browser's local storage so the site looks the same next time. Caucus does not set cookies.

What the website host sees

Like any website, the service that hosts these pages receives standard technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, the page requested and your browser type. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure, and it does not include your answers.

Third parties

Caucus does not load scripts, fonts, images or trackers from other companies, and it uses no analytics or advertising tools. The share buttons are ordinary links: if you click one, you leave Caucus and that service's own privacy policy applies to what you post. The share image is drawn on your device, and it is only shared if you choose to post or send it.

Sharing your result

The image and text you share contain your profile and top matches, and nothing else. Anyone you send them to will see that information, so share it only with people you want to see it.
